Underworld

Before the dawn of mankind the gods created a race of perfect "children" called the Vampuris. They were joyous, sly characters and there desires were never satisfied. They created an inperfect race they deemed humans agaist the will of the gods. The gods were so furious they banished them to the dark, making them weak agaist the sun as they can die if exposed to long and garlic cloves they created as a posion to them, either sickening them if devoured or killing them. They made them drinkers of their own creations blood, and their humans deemed them vampires and feared their own creators. The fickle gods also created creatures called lycans who were vicious half wolf half human immortals that hunted vampires and humans alike. William, the first lycan gave birth to a boy with a human woman which created a lycan who was human by day and werewolf by night. The vampires took advantage of the humanoid lycans and used them as immortal slaves until Lucian, the first lycan able to take human form, over throws Viktor, the king of the coven to inslave them and their deep rooted hatred has only grew and causes a bitter war that will last until their races are no more. Small pockets of hybrid type races have popped up over time, Dhampirs are offsprings who have been created by a vampire and a unturned human, they fear sun less but can suffer, from a type of "heat syndrome". Hybrids, as they are so colorfully nicknamed have two different variations, one is a vampire female giving birth to a child with a werewolf as the father, they are generally only bothered by light and are small humanoid shape with grey skin and amazing stength. The other variation of the hybrid are werewolves bitten and turned by vampires, they are, when in their lycan forms, hulking beasts with bat like wings.

details: Jamlamin was there through the rise of the lycans and helped Lucian defeat Viktor and bring his race to freedom. As far back as a few years after the rise the vampires and werewolves struggled in a bitter and bloody war slowly destroying the two races, however they could get new "recruits." which is the sole reason the war has lasted for over a hundred years. Jamlamin was born a lycan and was raised and inprisioned by the vampires to make their weapons and work in their tunnels, after years of bloody conflict Jamlamin turned in and lives in solitude in his cave.

Details: Just a normal kid who stays involved in his village and helps his father, the blacksmith, repair and create items for the townfolks. Doesn't know any of the mystical presences exist, but always thinks he sees somethin unusual, and knows believes there must be something else then just him and the rest of the people. Morence keeps it to himself though, not wanting anyone to think he was crazy, and just because he thought he may be crazy himself.

Jamlamin arched his back and streched his muscles. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes with the palm of his right hand and stiffled a yawn. Jamlamin was about to walk back inside his cave when his stomach rumbled violently. "I need more provisions he sighed as animals were getting scarsier a winter aproached and the nearby villages began to hunt and store more meat. Jamlamin sighed and began making his way through the woods towards the village.

"That is a hott look, Morence! How'd you do it!?" Asked a friend of his

"Ah, i just got some of that silk, shaped it into a gown but cut up along the middle part then stitched back together but having it up by the crotch area" Chuckles "Then making this shirt was easy, as well as this interesting thing" Flapping his tie "Then i just got some of those blue flowers just outside of the village and used it to dye these bottoms. Same with parts of the tie. I rubbed the hard dye to make the blue darker and then rubbed it lightly making it a lighter blue color. I'll call the top a....polo. and this flapping thing a....tie! Yeah. And these bottoms i'll call jeans!"

Jamlamin arrived at the entrance of the village, eyeing everything around him and settling his hand on the hilt of his blade slighty as he entered the walls.

Eyes, wide open, watches as the hottiest girl (at least he thinks) walks through the market looking to buy something.

Whispers "Dang shes fineeeeeeee"

His friend replies "heck yaa! But too bad for you, your just not that lucky"

Morence laughs back and does a play punch to his shoulder "You dousch bag"

Jamlamin walked into the market place and plucked a plump blood red aaple and weighed it in his hand. He tossed a coin onto the table and strode away, taking a parge bite of the aple.

Saying his farewells to his friend, he walks down to the middle of the market to his father's shop.

"Need anythin dad?"

"Nahh, go and enjoy yourself, you help me enough kido" winks at Morence

"Alrighty, just get someone to get me if you need somethin" Walks back off towards the same direction he came from, going to that one fineee girl. Kate

Jamlamin shambled around the market until he found a building with a hammer and anvil sign above it. "Ooh." he mumbled and stepped inside, taking another bite form his apple.

As he walks, he sees a unusual large guy. He looked old, but young at the same time...there was something weird about him. Morence just shoved it off his thoughts and kept walking thinking of a pick up line. Sooooooo..you like...biceps? he thought to himself.

Jamlamin drew his sword, holding the hilt so the blade angled to the floor in a non-threatingly way. "Could you repair the blade, it has not seen a black smith in-" Jamlamin nearly said fifty years, when he realized he may have passed for a young man of twenty. "Since my father died and gave me the blade." he lied.

Morence's father look at the pointed down blade, coming from behind his table getting on his knees to examine it.

"May i?" Holding out his hand to take it

Jamlamin released hold of the blade as the man grabbed it "You may."

Holding the blade, he walks back to the table and lays it down. His eyes widen as he looks at the material that made the blade. Feels the smooth sides of the blade.

"Wow...this material, i've never seen such a thing. Its the most powerful thing i've ever seen! Even my mentor can't build such a thing. To be honest, sir, i dont think anything i have can repair this blade, though to me it looks like its in perfect condition. Im sorry, sir. I mean if you just want me to hammer it a bit, i could. But i dont know how much it'll do. Where did you get such a beautiful and fine sword?"

Jamlamin sighed. "Its quite alright, i was jsut worried that it might be damaged in some way, this blade has been, erm... passed down from my familly when it was forged nearly two hundred years ago."

"Its a wonderful blade! And 200 years, wow...your family must've been quite something. It would've been my pleasure to have worked for them back then, im sure of it, but im in this little village though. Ah well, its a mellow village" holds the blade on his palm with the hilt on his right hand and a smooth side of the blade on his left palm. Then walks back over to the man holding it out to him

Jamlamin grips the hilt and and slides the blade back into the scabard in a graceful motion. "You wouldnt beleive." he muttered. "Do you know were a compitant leather worker is or somewere I can obtain a rucksack to carry provisons?" he asked.

Nodding "Yep" Walks out the door half way waiting for the man to follow him, and then points down half way towards the market. A shop with a sack as the sign. "Provatopas. Hes famous in that area of work. It was a pleasure speaking with you and seeing that magnificent blade. I haven't seen you around at all, may i get your name? Just incase you come back around, or at least be able to brag about your incredible sword" He asks curiously

Jamlamin pondered the question for a second, wondering if his name would still be renamed from the past. "Its Jamlamin." he said and turned towards the door.

"Thats a nice name, honestly. There were folk tales about a Jamlamin, some thought he was a monster. Maybe he was just someone tryin to fit in. Ah well. I'm Monterello, the blacksmith as you can see haha. Well, again, it was a pleasure meeting you" Bows his head to the man

Jamlamin nods his head towards the man and steps outside towards the the shop, taking another bite of his apple along the way.

Seeing the girl, he uses his hand to fix his hair.

"Hey, Kate. Hows it goin?"

One of those innocent sweet girl voices "Oh hey Morence, just shopping for my father"

"Oh? Nice lady eh? haha. Well...umm..i was uh..wondering...if maybe you w-w-w-anted to co-o-o-me with me. Like a w-w-w-alk or somethi-i-i-ng" Smiles, cursing himself for his stupid studdering.

Jamlamin finished his apple and tossed it over his head as he stalked closer to the shop.
